FILMMAKER REGISTRATION

In celebration of the Arts Council of the Valley’s 25th anniversary,
filmmaker registration for the 2025 festival will be FREE OF CHARGE.

Early Registration: CLOSED (all early slots filled)

We’re offering the first 20 filmmaker slots to individuals with at least one “Director” credit for a previous Super Gr8 film. To register early, please complete the “Early Filmmaker Registration Form.” The form will go live on this page at 9:00am on Tuesday, June 10th and will be up until 11:59pm on June 12th, or until the initial twenty slots have been filled. These slots will be first-come, first-served. Please do not submit early if you aren’t eligible. Once we receive your registration, we’ll reach out to inform you if it has been accepted. If your early registration is not accepted, you’re encouraged to apply again during General Registration (see below). Once accepted, we encourage all filmmakers to familiarize themselves with the information on the “Filmmaker’s Portal.”

General Registration: Starts Friday, June 13th at 9:00am

To register as a filmmaker during General Registration, please complete the “General Filmmaker Registration Form.” The form will go live on this page at 9:00am on Friday, June 13th and will be up until all remaining slots are filled. Once we receive your registration, we will reach out to inform you if it has been accepted. Once accepted, we encourage all filmmakers to familiarize themselves with the information on the “Filmmakers’ Portal.”

Festival Dates:   Saturday, October 4th - Sunday, October 5th
Films Due:   Friday, August 22nd (end of day)
Audio Due:   Friday, September 5th (end of day)
Posters Due:   Monday, September 22nd (end of day)

Note:

Filmmaker slots will be limited to one per individual

Registration includes camera rental, one roll of film, film processing, digital transfer, poster printing, free admission on the night of your film's screening, and a digital copy of your film.

Super Gr8 does NOT return your original negative; but retains them in-house for archival purposes.

There is only one rule at Super Gr8. No Snuff Films!
